The Management of Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila, AUSU, on Wednesday, 29th July, 2026, received officials of Yahaya Hamza Institute of Technology, School of Health Sciences, Kaduna, to formalise a new academic partnership aimed at strengthening Nigeria's healthcare sector.
This strategic partnership will pave the way for seamless academic progression. It will enable graduates of the Institute to pursue specialized degree programs in Health Sciences at AUSU. The collaboration is designed to bridge the gap in clinical education and equip the next generation of healthcare professionals with advanced, top-tier skills.
The agreement underscores the University's unwavering commitment to expanding access to quality education and strengthening the health workforce in Nigeria.
The official ceremony was attended by the Vice-Chancellor of Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila, Professor Abdulhadi Sale Kumurya, alongside all principal officers and members of the University management. Representing Yahaya Hamza Institute of Technology were the Provost and the Academic Secretary.
