Al-Istiqama University Sumaila Receives Waqf Building for Islamic Education from Tsoho Ma’aji Family

Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila, today received and commissioned the Islamic Education Foundation Center, a brand-new facility donated as waqf by the families of late Alhaji Muhammad Tsoho Ma’aji Sumaila.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kumurya, received the keys on behalf of the Founder, Sen. Sulaiman Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, OFR, Ph.D, and the entire university community. He described the milestone as a historic boost to the university’s Islamic and Da’awa activities.

Prof. Kumurya expressed profound gratitude to the Tsoho Ma’aji family for the generous endowment. “This act of continuous charity will benefit generations of scholars to come. It is a visionary investment in the future of education at Al-Istiqama University,” he said.

The VC assured the donor and Sumaila community that the university management will serve as faithful custodians of the facility. He pledged optimal utilization, proper maintenance, and service to the core mandate for which it was intended, and urged students and community members to treat the facility with care.

All principal officers and members of university management attended the commissioning.

Prof. Kumurya prayed that Almighty Allah rewards the donor abundantly, grants him health and prosperity, and makes the waqf a continuous source of blessings, Sadaqah Jariyah, for his late parents.
