Ambrose Alli University Governing Council Clarifies Vice-Chancellor Selection Process

The Governing Council of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has dismissed reports suggesting that the Edo State Government directed it to restart the process of appointing a substantive Vice-Chancellor.

In a statement, the Council maintained that the selection exercise it conducted remains valid and that only petitions filed after the exercise are currently under review.

The Governing Council stressed that the Vice-Chancellor selection remains on track, with the government and the Council working together to ensure fairness, legality, and merit guide the process.
