The management of Ambrose Alli University (AAU) has issued a firm directive to all Heads of Departments (HODs) to ensure the timely release of the 2024/2025 academic session results, following persistent delays that are threatening the academic calendar.
In a press release dated March 12, 2026, the university highlighted that despite earlier Senate resolutions, some departments have failed to upload results within the stipulated timeframe, hindering comprehensive Senate approval and affecting course registration for the 2025/2026 session.
Key Directives from Management:
- Final Deadline for Result Uploads: All results must be uploaded and approved by the ICT Directorate no later than Monday, March 16, 2026, including necessary approvals from relevant boards and External Examiners.
- CBE Result Approval: Departments that have yet to approve Computer Based Examination (CBE) results must complete the process by close of work, Friday, March 13, 2026. Results not approved by this deadline will be released in their current state.
- Accountability and Sanctions: HODs or staff responsible for further delays will face formal disciplinary action.
- Final-Year Project Defense: Departments that have not conducted final-year project defenses are directed to hold internal defenses immediately to avoid further disruption to the academic schedule.
The university management stressed that full compliance is mandatory to restore the integrity of the academic calendar and ensure the smooth continuation of academic activities.
