Arewa Female Students Association Pays Courtesy Visit to KHAIRUN Vice-Chancellor

The Vice-Chancellor of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, received a courtesy visit from the Arewa Female Students Association (AFSA) on October 31, 2025.

The visiting team, led by the President of the Association, Miss Mardiyya Muhammad, expressed their appreciation for the Vice-Chancellor's leadership and commitment to education, particularly in advancing women and girl child education in Northern Nigeria.

During the visit, AFSA presented a Certificate of Excellence award to Prof. Garba in recognition of his outstanding contributions to education, mentorship, and youth empowerment. The association also conferred on him the honorary title of Patron of the Arewa Female Students Association.

Prof. Garba appreciated the recognition and honor, pledging KHAIRUN's continued partnership with AFSA in promoting gender inclusiveness and educational empowerment. He commended the association's noble objectives and expressed his commitment to supporting the aspirations of young women in the region.
