The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) has announced its annual scholarship scheme for Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University (KHAIRUN) in Kano State, Nigeria. The program is aimed at providing financial support to academically capable students from low-income families to pursue tertiary education.
Criteria for Fresh Students:
- Minimum of 8 credits in WAEC/NECO examinations, with distinctions being an added advantage.
- Minimum score of 200 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Applicants must be no more than 22 years old.
- Valid proof of identity and state of indigene.
Criteria for Current Students:
- Strong GPA with a minimum of 3.5 on a scale of 5.0.
- Letters of recommendation from professors or academic advisors attesting to performance.

- Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing Science, Radiography, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Forensic Science, Industrial Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics with Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mechatronic Engineering.
