Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has made a notable impression at the ongoing 27th Nigeria University Games (NUGA) in Jos, with its judokas securing two silver medals in the Judo event. The athletes demonstrated exceptional skill, strength, and determination throughout the competition.

In the -60kg male category, Shedrack Inalegwu Audu from the Department of Medical Laboratory Science delivered a standout performance, reaching the final where he narrowly missed gold, earning a silver medal after a thrilling contest against Taiwo Losa of the University of Lagos.

Similarly, in the -73kg male category, Mujaheed Sulaiman from the Department of Accounting showcased brilliant form, securing another silver medal for BUK after a hard-fought loss to Aminu Hassan of Akwa Ibom State University in the final.
