Borno State Government Hands Over New Store Block Building to UNIMAID Demonstration Secondary School

The Borno State Government has officially handed over a newly constructed store block building to the University of Maiduguri Demonstration Secondary School.
The building features modern facilities, including classrooms, a computer laboratory, home economics laboratory, library, and separate staff rooms for male and female staff.
The handing over ceremony was attended by the Secretary to the State Government, Mallam Bukar Tijjani, who represented Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum. The Governor reiterated the government's commitment to supporting education in the state, particularly in the face of challenges posed by the past 16 years of crisis.
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri and the Principal of the Demonstration Secondary School expressed gratitude to the government for the new infrastructure, noting that it would significantly enhance the teaching and learning environment. The school principal described Governor Zulum as a symbol of educational restoration and transformation.
