BUK Opens NYSC Registration for Eligible Graduating Students

The Deanery of Student Affairs, Bayero University, Kano (BUK), has officially announced the commencement of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) registration for all prospective corps members.

According to a notice dated Thursday, March 12, 2026, students are urged to register immediately via the official NYSC portal.

The Dean, Prof. Mukhtar Ridwanu Bunza, addressed concerns over discrepancies between graduation dates on the university’s internal pre-mobilization list and those reflected on the NYSC portal. Students affected by this are advised not to panic and to proceed with registration, as the university has liaised with NYSC authorities to ensure corrections will be made even after registration.

Prof. Bunza emphasized that no eligible student will be mobilized without completing the required registration and reassured students that all graduation date discrepancies will be resolved.

The university urges all prospective corps members to take advantage of the registration window and complete the process promptly.
