Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The IJMBE is a nationally recognized Advanced Level (A/L) examination, approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria and certified by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Successful candidates are eligible for Direct Entry (200-level) admission into AAU or other Nigerian universities, with some foreign universities also recognizing the certificate.

Programme Details:
- Duration: 12 calendar months, divided into 2 sessions
- Subjects: Candidates are expected to select three (3) subject combinations relevant to their intended course of study
Admission Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 credit passes in SSCE, WASCE, GCE O-Level, NECO, or NABTEB (in not more than 2 sittings)
- Credits must include English Language and Mathematics
- At least 3 credits must be in relevant subjects
