BUK Reschedules Examinations Over Public Holiday Declaration

Bayero University Kano, BUK, has announced the rescheduling of all examinations slated for Tuesday, 25th August 2026, following the declaration of the date as a public holiday.

In a Special Bulletin issued on Monday, 24th August 2026, Vol. XLIV No. 71, the University Management stated that the examinations originally scheduled for Tuesday will now hold after the last scheduled examination date and time for the respective Faculty, School or programme, in accordance with their approved examination timetable.

The management said the adjustment was necessary to ensure that academic activities align with the public holiday declaration while maintaining the integrity of the examination schedule.

The University Management expressed appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of all students and members of the University Community.
