BUK Wins First Gold Medal at 27th NUGA Games

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has secured its first gold medal at the 27th NUGA Games in Jos, through Kenneth Zachariah's outstanding performance in the 1500m men's race.

Zachariah dominated the event, outpacing athletes from over 15 Nigerian universities with his impressive endurance and finishing kick. Head Coach Ibrahim Idris praised Zachariah's achievement, citing his exceptional ability and training commitment.

This milestone victory marks a strong start for BUK, signaling its intent to chase more medals across various events at the Games.
