The transformation of Kogi State Polytechnic into the modern and well-equipped institution it is today can be largely attributed to the efforts of Dr. Usman Ogbo, who succeeded Dr. Isa as the Rector. Under Dr. Ogbo's stewardship, the Polytechnic witnessed significant infrastructural developments that dramatically enhanced its physical appearance and academic environment.
Dr. Ogbo’s tenure saw the construction of several new buildings and facilities, providing students and faculty with state-of-the-art resources and a conducive learning environment.
