The Council Of Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) has applauded the management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, led by Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed for the quality of work executed in the University.

The COREN monitoring team headed by Engr. Obande gave the pass mark when he led other members of the monitoring team on an inspection and evaluation of projects and construction in the University recently.

Engineer Obande explained that the visit which is a routine one is to assess and ascertain the quality of work executed which he described as world-class and according to specification will which stand the test of time.

In his response, the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics, Professor Haruna Kuje Ayuba stated that the excellence seen in the execution of the ongoing projects are a reflection of what NSUK stands for which is quality, standard, and accountability.

Among the projects inspected by the monitoring team are the construction and furnishing of the new Senate building, the construction, and furnishing of lecture halls and offices at the Faculty of Social Science, and the construction of the Medical Science Building.
