Crescent University, Abeokuta Opens Admission for Part-Time Degree Programmes

Crescent University, widely regarded as the Citadel of Academic and Moral Excellence, has officially commenced admission into its Part-Time Degree Programmes for qualified candidates through the Centre for Sub and External Degree Programmes (CESEDEP).

According to the University’s admission prospectus, applications are invited into various programmes across selected colleges, including:

College of Arts, Social and Management Sciences (CASAMAST)

• B.Sc. Accounting
• B.Sc. Business Administration
• B.Sc. Economics with Operations Research
• B.Sc. Mass Communication
• B.Sc. Political Science
• B.A. Islamic Studies

College of Natural and Applied Sciences

• B.Sc. Microbiology

College of Information and Communication Technology (CICOT)

• B.Sc. Computer Science

The programmes are also open to candidates seeking conversion admission.

General Admission Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• Higher National Diploma (HND) with good grades from a reputable institution, or ND/A’ Level qualifications
• Five (5) O’Level credits including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects

Application Process

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦10,000 into the Crescent Project Account at Zenith Bank (Account Number: 1011717301). Applications can be submitted:

• Online via www.cuab.edu.ng
• Physically at the CESEDEP Centre

Completed applications must include photocopies of:

• Application form receipt
• Academic certificates (HND, ND, WAEC/NECO, etc.)
• Birth certificate or age declaration
• Local Government ID
• Passport photographs (female applicants must have heads covered)
• Two reference letters
• Evidence of JAMB registration
• National Identification Number (NIN) slip
• NYSC discharge certificate (where applicable)

Lecture Schedule

• Friday: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Sunday: 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Fee Structure

• Acceptance Fee: ₦40,000
• Tuition Fee: ₦200,000 per session
• Computer Connectivity: ₦35,000 per session
• Matriculation and ID Card: ₦10,000
• Screening & Administrative Charges: ₦7,000
• Portal Fee: ₦5,000 per session

Candidates must pay 70% of the tuition fee (₦140,000), including acceptance, screening, administrative, and matriculation fees, before resumption. All payments are non-refundable.

Other Programmes

Crescent University also offers an Advanced Level Programme through the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), requiring six (6) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics.
