CUSTECH Prepares for Medical and Dental Council Resources Verification Visit

The Management team of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, led by the Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Asipita Salawu, has undertaken a strategic visit to the CUSTECH Teaching Hospital, Okene, to assess the facility's readiness for the upcoming Resources Verification exercise by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

The visit aimed to ensure that the Teaching Hospital is adequately prepared for the crucial exercise, scheduled for this week. The Vice Chancellor commended the existing synergy between the university and its teaching hospital, praising the Chief Medical Director and his team for their dedication and collaborative spirit.

Prof. Salawu reiterated the university's commitment to realizing the dream of producing its first set of medical graduates, with the support of the State Governor, His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo. The Chief Medical Director, Dr. Shuaibu Stephen Babatunde, expressed his appreciation for the visit and assured the university's management of the teaching hospital's commitment to maintaining a robust collaboration.

The Vice Chancellor and his team conducted an extensive inspection tour of the projects under construction, expressing satisfaction with the pace and quality of work observed. Prof. Salawu concluded the visit by expressing optimism about the MDCN's impending visit, stating that the university is poised for success.
