According to an official memorandum from the university, the general institutional cut-off mark has been set at 150, while more competitive programmes carry higher benchmarks in line with demand, capacity, and professional requirements.

Proposed Departmental Cut-Off Marks

The breakdown of key programmes includes:
- Medicine and Surgery — 250
- Nursing Science — 230
- Civil Law — 240
- Medical Laboratory Science — 200
- Anatomy and Physiology — 160
- Accountancy — 160
- Other Courses — 150
The university noted that the variation in cut-off marks reflects differences in programme competitiveness and admission pressure across faculties.
Prospective candidates who meet the stipulated requirements have been advised to remain attentive to further updates regarding the Post-UTME screening exercise.
Applicants are also strongly encouraged to ensure compliance with all academic requirements, including proper JAMB subject combinations and the successful upload of O’Level results, as these remain critical determinants in the final admission process.
EBSU reiterated that only candidates who meet both the cut-off benchmarks and programme-specific requirements will be considered for admission in the upcoming session.
