Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Mass Communication Department Appoints New Exco Members

The Department of Mass Communication at the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has announced the appointment of new executive members for the National Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Mass Communication Students' Association (MACOSA), FPTB chapter.

The appointment ceremony took place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the department, with the Head of Department, Shamsu Dauda Abdu, and senior lecturer Mal. Bello Halilu in attendance.

Addressing the newly appointed executives, the HOD expressed his confidence in their abilities, stating, "We have reviewed your academic records, and we are proud of your achievements. We believe you have the potential to make us proud when given the opportunity."

The newly appointed executives include Emmanuel Dalla, an HNDII student, as the NIPR President, and Nazif Nuhu Muhammad as the MACOSA President. The department has tasked the new executives to work collaboratively to achieve their goals and promote the interests of the department.

This development is expected to enhance the department's activities and provide opportunities for students to develop their leadership and communication skills.
