Dukku Consultative Forum Commends Gombe State University Acting VC and Management

The Dukku Consultative Forum (DCF) has expressed its profound appreciation to the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Gombe State University (GSU), Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta, and the University's Management for their proactive leadership in establishing the Faculty of Environmental Sciences in Dukku.

 

A delegation from the DCF, led by Chairman Mohamed Bala Hashidu, commended the Acting Vice-Chancellor for his resilience and dedication to ensuring the smooth take-off of the new faculty. The delegation also acknowledged the efforts of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for honoring Dukku LGA with its first tertiary institution.

The DCF pledged its unwavering support for GSU and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the University and the Dukku community. The delegation recommended the establishment of a Town-and-Gown Forum to foster mutual cooperation and ensure the seamless operation of the institution.

In response, the Acting Vice-Chancellor expressed his gratitude to the delegation and extended his appreciation to Governor Yahaya, recognizing his pivotal role in driving the project. He assured the delegation that the Dukku campus is a permanent initiative, as mandated by the governor, and reaffirmed GSU's commitment to ensuring the faculty's successful operation.
