Applications are open to candidates who wrote the 2026 UTME and either selected the institution as their first choice or are willing to effect a change of institution to make the Polytechnic their first choice.
Eligibility

Candidates who chose The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro as their first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored not below 150 in the examination.

Candidates must not be below 16 years of age.

Candidates who did not initially choose The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro but are willing and able to effect a change of institution to make it their first choice.

Physically challenged candidates.

International candidates.

Candidates who complete the screening form online following the approved procedure.
Method of Application

Candidates seeking admission into ND (Full-Time) programmes are required to complete the institution’s online screening form available at www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng with effect from Wednesday, 27th May, 2026.

A non-refundable processing fee of ₦2,000 is required.
Procedure for Obtaining the Online Screening Form
- Log on to www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng
- Click on “Portal” on the main menu
- Scroll down to “New Application”
- Click on the “Generate Invoice” button
- Fill in your details as they appear on your credentials and select your programme of study
- Proceed to the bank with the generated invoice and make payment
- Obtain RRR number
- Return to the portal and repeat steps 1–3
- Click on the “Fill Application Form” button
- Enter the RRR number obtained from the bank
- Complete the application form
