Federal Polytechnic Mubi Hosts Inclusive Graduation for Skills Acquisition Trainees from Conflict-Affected LGAs
Federal Polytechnic Mubi, through the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Skills Acquisition and Technology Development (CESTD), on Monday 8th December 2025 hosted the Inclusive Graduation of Trainees Young Adults on Skills Acquisition from selected project communities of Michika and Madagali LGAs of Adamawa State.
The graduation brought together beneficiaries who successfully completed intensive hands‑on training in various trades, equipping them with practical skills for livelihood and community rebuilding.
The event was organised by COCIN Community Development Programme, Molai, in collaboration with CBM International and funded by BMZ Germany, underscoring a strong partnership for inclusive development in conflict‑affected communities. Federal Polytechnic Mubi provided the venue and institutional backing through CESTD, reinforcing its mandate to drive entrepreneurship and skills acquisition across the region.
The Rector, Dr Abdulrahman Aspita Ishaka, was represented by the Registrar, Mr Istifanus Bindu Andrew, who conveyed Management’s goodwill and commended the efforts of COCIN CDP, CBM International and CESTD in empowering youths and vulnerable groups.
The Director, CESTD, Dr Nami Marcel Gaila, lauded the trainees for their dedication and urged them to use their new skills to create jobs, support local economies and serve as ambassadors of both the project and the Polytechnic.
