Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas Rector, Dr. Victor Okolobah, Honored for Educational Excellence and Financial Prudence

The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Dr. Victor Okolobah, has once again received an award of excellence in recognition of his impactful contributions to the development of education in Nigeria and his prudent financial management.

The award was presented to the Rector in his office on 17th December, 2025, by the News Editor of Nigeria Inside News, Abuja, Mr. Omoh Augustine. Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Augustine disclosed that the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas was rated as one of the best-performing institutions in Nigeria based on the organization’s findings.

Mr Augustine explained that the award is part of an annual initiative by Nigeria Inside News aimed at recognizing outstanding institutions across the country that demonstrate excellence in administration, academic development, and effective resource management.

In his response, Dr. Okolobah expressed gratitude to Nigeria Inside News for finding him and his management team worthy of the award.

Dr Okolobah reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining quality leadership, noting that under his administration, the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas would continue to strive toward achieving global standards in education and institutional governance.
