Federal University of Kashere Imposes 11:00 PM Curfew Amid Security Concerns

The management of the Federal University of Kashere (FUK) has announced a strict restriction of movement for all staff and students, effective immediately.

Following an emergency meeting of the Security Committee on January 16th, 2026, the directive was issued in response to the "prevailing security situation of the University community and the nation at large."

Curfew Hours: Movement within and outside the university campus is strictly prohibited after 11:00 PM daily until further notice.

Compliance: All members of the university community are required to plan their activities to comply with this directive for the interest of safety and security.

Enforcement: The Chief Security Officer has been instructed to ensure all campus gates are securely closed by the stipulated time.

The circular, signed by the Registrar, Nasir Lawal Abdullahi, emphasizes the appreciation for understanding and cooperation from the university community during this period.
