The Office of the Registrar at the Federal University of Lafia (FUL) has announced a one-week extension for course registration for the 2024/2025 academic session, following approval by the Vice-Chancellor.
According to an internal memorandum signed by the Registrar, Dr. Nuradeen Abdul, the extension targets two groups of students:

- Students who have paid their fees and sat for first or second semester examinations but have not yet registered their courses.
- Students currently on the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SiWES) or Teaching Practice for the 2024/2025 session who have paid their fees but are yet to complete course registration.
The university’s Directorate of Management Information Systems (MIS) has been instructed to reopen the registration portal exclusively for these affected students. The registration window will run from Thursday, 9th January 2026, to Friday, 16th January 2026.
The memo, addressed to the Students’ Union Government (SUG) President, emphasized that this measure is to facilitate the timely processing of academic results and ensure seamless progression for eligible students. Students are urged to complete their registration within the stipulated period.
