FIBSU-UDUS Launches Fundraising Appeal to Support Students Affected by Bus Fire

The Federation of Ibadan Students Union (FIBSU), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) Chapter, has initiated a fundraising campaign to support students who lost their belongings in a devastating bus fire that occurred on February 1, 2025.

 

The bus, conveying students back to school, caught fire, resulting in the loss of their possessions, including essential items such as clothes, credentials, foodstuff, and laptops. Fortunately, no lives were lost in the incident.

To assist the affected students in recovering from their losses, FIBSU-UDUS is appealing to individuals and organizations to donate funds. The union emphasized that every contribution, no matter how small, will significantly aid the students in resuming their academic activities.
