FPOG Bonny Staff Donates Projectors, Thermometers to Boost Teaching and Learning
The Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas (FPOG), Bonny, has received a donation of four projectors and thirty thermometers from Mr. Danjuma Mohammed, a lecturer in the Department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT).

The items were officially presented to the Rector, Dr. Victor Okolobah, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, during a brief ceremony held in his office. Mr. Mohammed was accompanied by the Acting Dean, School of Applied Sciences, Mr. Timothy Awuhe, and the Head of Department, SLT, Mr. Dennis Ekene Chibuike.

While receiving the donation, Dr. Okolobah thanked Mr. Mohammed for the gesture and directed that the items be documented under the name of the donor for proper record keeping and institutional memory.

The Registrar, Mr. Pepple Adonye Emmanuel, alongside other management staff, witnessed the presentation.
Speaking with reporters after the event, the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Anthony Ogbe (SAR) (MCAI), described the donation as a welcome development that will contribute to improving teaching, research, and practical training in the Polytechnic, particularly within the School of Applied Sciences.

The donation marks another step in efforts to strengthen academic delivery and provide better facilities for staff and students of the Polytechnic.
