From Herdsman to University Lecturer, Ahmed Garba's Inspiring Journey

Ahmed Garba, a determined individual from Taraba State, has made headlines with his remarkable transformation from a cattle herder to a security guard and eventually, a lecturer at the Federal University Wukari.

Garba's journey began with cattle rearing, a common occupation in his community. However, he decided to pursue higher education, which led him to become a security guard at the Federal University Wukari in 2012. He started with a National Certificate in Education (NCE) qualification and was employed on CONTISS 5/2, gradually rising to CONTISS 8/2 in the same department.

While working as a security guard, Garba gained admission to study sociology at the Federal University Wukari through Direct Entry. He worked diligently and graduated with a commendable 2:1 degree earlier this year.
