FUGashua VC, Prof. Geidam, Inspects Registrar’s Office, Gum Arabic Research Centre in Familiarization Tour

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Gashua (FU Gashua), Professor Yaqub Ahmed Geidam, has continued his strategic familiarization tour of the institution’s core administrative and research units to assess operational efficiency.

During today's visit, the Vice-Chancellor stopped at the Registrar’s Office, where he was received and briefed by the Registrar, Dr. Abubakar Mamuda. The tour also extended to the Centre for Gum Arabic Research, a key research hub for the university, where the Director, Professor Ishaku James Dantata, provided a comprehensive briefing on the centre’s ongoing projects and research goals.

In a bid to streamline administrative processes, Professor Geidam further visited the Academic Division and the Establishment Division. He received detailed briefings from the Deputy Registrars, Muhammad Auwal Namaliya Dachia and Muhammad Dogona, respectively.

The ongoing tour is part of the Vice-Chancellor’s commitment to engaging directly with various faculties, directorates, and departments to foster a more integrated and efficient university system.
