FULafia Showcases Innovation at Nasarawa State Trade Fair 2025

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) participated in the 2025 edition of the Nasarawa State Trade Fair, held at the Lafia City Hall.

The fair, themed "Investing in Nasarawa's Future: Fostering Economic Development Through Mineral and Agricultural Cottage Industrialisation," brought together innovators and key stakeholders.

FULafia showcased innovative projects developed by its postgraduate students, including solar stoves and ceramic vases. The university's Vice Chancellor, represented by Prof. Samaila Dakyes, emphasized the significance of strategic partnership between FULafia and the state government in harnessing the state's vast resources to address challenges.

The university is working to equip its graduates with practical knowledge to foster self-employment and entrepreneurship. The exhibition, which runs from May 2 to 17, 2025, also features notable exhibitors such as the Dangote Group and the Technology Incubation Centre, Lafia.
