Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta has announced that its 113th inaugural lecture will hold on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building.

The lecture, scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m., will have guests seated by 1:30 p.m.

Titled “As the Heart Thinks, So It Is: The Story of Parasites,” the presentation will be delivered by Sam Olufemi Hanacho Sam-Wobo, a professor of Public Health Parasitology and Epidemiology and Director of the FUNAAB Zoo Park. He is affiliated with the Department of Pure and Applied Zoology under the College of Biosciences.

The Vice-Chancellor, Babatunde Kehinde, will serve as Chief Host.

According to the university, the event is open to members of the academic community and the general public. It will also be accessible virtually via multiple platforms.
