FUNATO Secures NELFUND Support for Over 1,000 Students

 In a move set to provide significant financial relief to its pioneer students, the management of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO), has successfully concluded a high-level engagement with the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

The meeting with NELFUND’s Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, focused on fast-tracking loan disbursements to ensure no eligible student is left behind due to financial constraints.

Pre-Matriculation Disbursement: Mr. Sawyerr assured that if the University submits all required documentation by Wednesday, April 16 (today), eligible students will receive their funds before the Matriculation Ceremony scheduled for April 22, 2026.

The collaboration underscores the Federal Government's commitment to making technology and agricultural education accessible through NELFUND.
