FUOYE Appoints New Information Director

The Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has named Dr Sunday Saanu of the University of Ibadan (UI) as its new Director of Communication and Corporate Affairs.

Dr Saanu, a communication graduate and accomplished journalist, brings extensive experience from both public and private universities. He has served four Vice-Chancellors at the University of Ibadan as a Media Assistant before moving to Ajayi Crowther Universit

y (ACU), Oyo, where he established a strong reputation as a skilled writer with a compelling prose style.

The university’s Registrar, Mufutau Ibrahim, who signed the appointment letter, congratulated Dr Saanu on his new role as the pioneering Director of Communication and Corporate Affairs.

Dr Saanu’s academic journey includes attendance at Lisabi Grammar School, Abeokuta, and Ogun State Polytechnic (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic) where he earned a Higher National Diploma (HND). He proceeded to the University of Ibadan, completing his undergraduate degree in Communication and Language Arts and later earning a PhD in Cultural and Media Studies.
