FUTA Appoints Mrs. Bosede Ajayi as New Head of Internal Audit

The Management of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has approved the redeployment of Mrs. Bosede Ajayi from the Bursary Department to head the Directorate of Internal Audit with effect from December 10, 2025.

The Management of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has approved the redeployment of Mrs. Bosede Ajayi from the Bursary Department to head the Directorate of Internal Audit with effect from December 10, 2025.

The appointment was conveyed in a letter signed by the Registrar of the University, Mr. Charles Adeleye, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Temidayo Oladiji. The letter stated that Mrs. Ajayi will be directly responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the general administration of the Directorate of Internal Audit. The new posting also confers on her the status of a member of the University Management and Head of the Unit.

Mrs. Ajayi is a seasoned financial professional and a Fellow of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria as well as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She brings over two decades of experience in university finance management, budgeting, financial planning and controls. She is widely regarded for her strong attention to detail, proven capacity to improve financial sustainability, enhance reporting systems and lead high-performing teams.

An alumna of Ondo State Polytechnic (now Rufus Giwa Polytechnic), Owo, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, and the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Mrs. Ajayi is also proficient in the use of accounting software and related financial systems. Prior to her redeployment, she served as Director of Final Accounts in the Bursary Department of FUTA.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji, has congratulated Mrs. Ajayi on her appointment and charged her to deploy her vast professional experience and administrative competence in strengthening financial oversight and accountability within the University.
