The University of Delta, Agbor (UNIDEL) has formalized a partnership with the Swedish Embassy to advance digital entrepreneurship among students.
The collaboration was sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and is set to commence in November 2025.
The announcement came during a courtesy visit by the embassy’s team, led by Nathalic Sundelin, to the university’s management. The delegation met with Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Patricia Mbah and Registrar Barr. Richmond Omagbemi to discuss the implementation framework of the programme.
Sundelin explained that the partnership aims to equip students with cutting-edge digital skills, enhance entrepreneurial capabilities in the global economy, and strengthen academic and research collaboration between Nigeria and Sweden. She also expressed admiration for UNIDEL’s facilities and institutional readiness to support the initiative.
In response, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Mbah commended the Swedish team for selecting UNIDEL as a key partner, highlighting the university’s commitment to fostering innovative skill development and preparing students for the demands of the digital economy.
