The 2019 graduating class of the Department of Statistics, Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has donated a 65-inch smart television to their department as part of efforts to enhance teaching and learning.

The donation, presented by the alumni group, is expected to support lectures, presentations, and other academic activities within the department.

Reacting to the gesture, the Head of Department, Prof. O. A. Adeoti, commended the former students, describing them as worthy ambassadors of the Department of Statistics. He praised their commitment to giving back to their alma mater and acknowledged the positive example they have set for current students.
