FUTA VC Honoured by Victory College, Ikare-Akoko Alumni with Meritorious Award

The award holds deep personal significance for Professor Oladiji, who hails from Ikare-Akoko and spent part of her formative years in the town. The recognition celebrates her exceptional leadership and contributions to education at both local and national levels.
The alumni delegation was led by Professor Michael Faborode, former Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, who commended Professor Oladiji for her tenure marked by excellence, innovation, and inclusivity. He noted, “Her dedication to advancing education and inspiring the next generation is truly deserving of this recognition.”
Receiving the award, Professor Oladiji expressed heartfelt gratitude, reflecting on the mentorship she received from Professor Faborode and other senior leaders throughout her career. She stated, “I am deeply honoured to be recognised by the alumni of my alma mater. This award motivates me to continue serving with excellence and to uphold the values of Victory College in all my endeavours.”
