FUTES-IYIN Announces Commencement of 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise
The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES-IYIN), has officially commenced its admission exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session and invited suitably qualified candidates to participate in its Post-UTME screening process.

The institution announced that all admissions would be processed through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
According to the university, candidates seeking admission must satisfy a number of requirements before they can be considered for admission.
Admission Requirements
The university stated that:

Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.

Applicants must have participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The minimum JAMB score required for admission is 160. However, some programmes require a minimum score of 180. Candidates who scored below 160 are not eligible for admission.

Candidates must possess a minimum of five O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB examinations. Results from not more than two sittings are acceptable.

Candidates who did not initially choose FUTES-IYIN as their preferred institution are required to process a Change of Institution through JAMB.

Interested applicants are advised to visit the university admission portal and carefully study the registration guidelines before applying.

Candidates whose details are not available on the portal as first-choice applicants may register using the "Other Choice" option. However, they must complete the change of institution process through JAMB before the close of the screening registration.

- Possess a National Diploma with at least Upper Credit or A-Level passes in three relevant subjects.
Screening and Portal Fees
The institution disclosed that applicants are required to pay:
• Post-UTME Screening Fee – N2,000
• Portal Access Fee – N3,000
Payments are to be made through the Remita platform on the university admission portal.
Application Procedure
The university outlined the following application procedures:
• Candidates must possess five O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings. Some programmes may have additional requirements.
• Applicants must provide a valid email address for account activation.
• After registration, an activation link will be sent to the supplied email address. Candidates are advised to check their inboxes and spam folders. Unactivated accounts will be automatically deleted after 48 hours.
• Applicants must carefully complete all required forms and upload a passport photograph not exceeding 100KB in size.
• The uploaded passport photograph cannot be changed after admission.
• Candidates will be held responsible for any incorrect or incomplete information submitted during registration.
• Applicants experiencing technical challenges are advised to contact the university's support centre.
Final Screening
The university stated that all successful candidates would undergo a final screening process before admission offers are confirmed. Candidates will subsequently be notified of their aggregate scores.
