FUTH Lafia Recognizes 160 Dedicated Staff at Annual Awards Ceremony

The management of the Federal University Teaching Hospital (FUTH), Lafia, honored approximately 160 dedicated staff members today in an event organized to celebrate their contributions to the hospital’s growth and success during 2025.

During the ceremony, the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Dr. Ikrama Hassan, expressed profound appreciation for the staff's support and dedication to service. Dr. Hassan assured them of management's unwavering commitment to providing necessary training and support to help staff achieve their highest professional aspirations.

The event was attended by notable figures, including the Provost of the College of Medicine, Federal University Lafia, Professor Ali Shugaba. Professor Shugaba commended FUTH management for establishing the tradition of recognizing staff efforts and pledged the College's ongoing support for the annual event.

Dr. Umar Apeshi, the Osoho of Olosoho, also congratulated the hospital on its successful full integration into the Federal system and assured the institution of his continued support.

Speaking on behalf of all award recipients, Mrs. Adama Zakari and Pharmacist Anthony Ablaku thanked the management for recognizing their hard work. They both pledged to continue putting forth their best efforts for the sustained success of the hospital.
