FUTHL Receives 702 Medical Books from Sir Emeka Offor Foundation to Bolster Research and Patient Care

The Sir Emeka Offor Foundation has donated 702 medical books to the Federal University Teaching Hospital Lafia as part of its corporate social responsibility aimed at supporting medical education and improving healthcare service delivery.

Receiving the books on behalf of the hospital, the Head of Store, Mr. Luka Owuna Ekpo expressed appreciation to the foundation for the generous gesture, noting that the donation would significantly contribute to the professional development of healthcare workers and enhance access to up-to-date medical knowledge within the hospital.

Mr. Owuna Ekpo further assured the foundation that the books would be distributed to relevant departments across the hospital to support doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel in carrying out their duties effectively, describing the initiative as a timely intervention that would strengthen learning and improve patient care at the institution.
