FUTMinna VC Commissions Renovated University Clinic and Indoor Sports Complex

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, has commissioned the newly renovated University Clinic and Indoor Sports Complex at the Main Campus, Gidan Kwano. The commissioning ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

In his remarks, Prof. Kuta commended the contractor for adhering strictly to the University’s standards and completing the project within the stipulated time frame. He urged the clinic staff to ensure proper maintenance of the facility for the benefit of the University community.

The Acting Director, Physical Planning and Development Unit, Aishatu Mohammed, noted that the projects were funded by TETFund and fully delivered on schedule. She expressed appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor for approving the renovation, adding that the buildings were previously in a dilapidated condition.

Chairman and Chief Executive of Gloval Digital Concept Construction Company, Dr. Moses Jika Macdaniel, explained that the contract covered the renovation of both the University Clinic and the Indoor Sports Complex under the Students Affairs Division. He stated that the company completed additional works not captured in the original Bill of Quantity (BOQ) at no extra cost to the University.

Dr. Jika thanked the University Management for the opportunity to handle the project and expressed hope for future collaboration.
