The German Association for the Blind has donated a Panos Mobile Central Visual Field machine to the University College Hospital (UCH) Eye Clinic.

The equipment was officially commissioned on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, at the clinic premises.

Professor Tunji Oluleye, Head of the Ophthalmology Department, expressed delight at the donation, highlighting that the new equipment will enhance the clinic’s operations and support the delivery of high-quality eye care services.

The Chief Medical Director, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, commended the German Association for their generosity and called on other well-meaning individuals to contribute toward helping the hospital fulfil its healthcare mandate.
