Gombe State University Hosts Three ACE Technology Service Ltd in Potential Strategic Partnership Meeting

Gombe State University (GSU) hosted Three ACE Technology Service Ltd in collaboration with Oneminers, a global technology company founded by Michal Beno and co-founded by Joseph Vojtas.
The visit marks the beginning of a potential partnership aimed at fostering technological advancement, sustainable energy solutions, and student employment opportunities within the University.
Three ACE Technology Service Ltd is currently in Gombe to execute a significant project at the Muhammadu Buhari Mega Industrial Park, where they plan to supply 150 megawatts of power and establish a data mining center. In line with their mission, the company visited Gombe State University for three key purposes:
1. Collaboration on a Mini Solar Grid: The company aims to work with the University to explore the feasibility of setting up a mini solar grid to enhance the sustainable energy supply on campus.
2. Provision of Fast and Effective Internet Services: The partnership will facilitate access to high-speed internet, improving academic research, e-learning, and administrative operations.
3. Short-term Job Placements for Students: Through industrial attachments and internship programs, GSU students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technology-driven fields.
During the visit, representatives of Three ACE Technology Service Ltd and Oneminers expressed their excitement about the collaboration, reaffirming their commitment to supporting GSU in various capacities. They emphasized the importance of integrating academic institutions with industrial growth, ensuring that students benefit directly from technological advancements and employment opportunities.
It is worth recalling that His Excellency, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, initiated the Muhammadu Buhari Mega Industrial Park with the vision of spearheading industrial growth in Gombe State. And GSU is poised to benefit significantly from the vision of His Excellency.
The Ag. Vice-Chancellor of Gombe State University extended his appreciation to the visiting delegation for their willingness to collaborate with the institution. Also present at the meeting was the Registrar of Gombe State University, Dr. Abubakar Aliyu Bafeto, who echoed the University’s enthusiasm for the prospective partnership and emphasized the institution’s readiness to engage with industry leaders for the benefit of students and staff alike.
