IBB University Lapai Mourns Governing Council Member, Mahmud Musa Mahmud

The Council, Management, Senate, staff and students of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai have announced the death of Alhaji Mahmud Musa Mahmud following a prolonged illness.

In an official statement issued by the Registrar, Alhaji Idris Saleh Kusherki, the university community expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the seasoned administrator, describing his death as a significant loss.

Late Mahmud, popularly known as “Gambo,” was one of the institution’s pioneer staff and played a vital role in its growth and development. Until his death, he served as a member of the University Governing Council.

He has since been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.

The university extended its condolences to the family, praying for the forgiveness of his shortcomings and for Almighty Allah to grant him eternal rest, while also asking for strength for those he left behind.
