IGSOBA Pledges Support for UNIDEL VC, Prof. Eboh, During Courtesy Visit

The National Executive Committee of the Ika Grammar School Old Boys Association, IGSOBA, has paid a solidarity visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delta, UNIDEL, Agbor, Prof. Eric Eboh, to congratulate him on his appointment as the institution’s chief executive.  

Led by the President of IGSOBA, Prof. S. E. Ojogbo, the delegation was received by Prof. Eboh in his office, where discussions focused on leadership, institutional development, and the future growth of the University.

Welcoming the visitors, Prof. Eboh expressed appreciation to the association for identifying with him and extending goodwill messages on his appointment. He described the visit as a reflection of enduring bonds and a shared commitment to excellence.  

The Vice-Chancellor also presented the University’s RAISE Agenda to the delegation. He described it as a strategic blueprint designed to sustain and accelerate the developmental growth of UNIDEL, consolidate the gains already recorded, and position the institution for greater achievements in teaching, research, and service delivery.

Earlier, Prof. Ojogbo said the Association was proud to associate with one of its distinguished members who had attained such a significant leadership position. He assured Prof. Eboh of IGSOBA’s goodwill and support for a successful and impactful tenure as Vice-Chancellor.  

Also in attendance were the UNIDEL Registrar, Dr. Mrs. Esther Akpojuvie, and IGSOBA executive members including Secretary-General, Mr. Mike Okwudolor; Dr. Fidelis U. Amahi; Bishop T. O. Osian; Venerable Vincent N. Etumudor; Chief Ijeh Dominic; Sir A. Mordi; Ebibilem Chuks Henry; and others.
