The College of Computing, Engineering, and Sciences at Kaduna State University (KASU) recently organized an orientation program for its newly admitted students.

The event aimed to welcome the students into the academic community and prepare them for their academic journey.

Prof. Abubakar S. Magaji, Provost of the College, emphasized the importance of mentorship and encouraged students to seek guidance from academic staff. Prof. Muhammad Dauda, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, congratulated the students on their admission and urged them to strive for excellence. Key topics discussed during the orientation included career opportunities, student conduct, examination ethics, and calculating Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and Grade Point Average (GPA).
