Kaduna State University Hosts Scholarly Discourse on Language and Literary Studies

Kaduna State University (KASU) hosted a scholarly discourse on Language and Literary Studies, featuring notable scholars discussing the book "Language and Literary Studies: An Exploration for Scholarly Discourse," edited by Prof. U.N. Butari.

The event took place at Lecture Theater 1, Faculty of Arts, and was attended by academics, staff, and students.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, highlighted the significance of language and proposed establishing a writing center at KASU. He also suggested exploring technology dynamics and 21st-century ethics in future scholarly discourses. Additionally, he announced the introduction of KASU's e-learning platform to enhance undergraduate learning.

The event featured presentations by Prof. Audee T. Giwa, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Patrick El-Kanemi Onah, Head of the Department of English and Drama, and Prof. Butari Nahum, editor of the discussed book. Other notable attendees included Dr. (Mrs.) Hadiza Talatu Mohammed, Deputy University Librarian, and several professors and lecturers.
