Kano Private Universities Strengthen Collaboration as KHAIRUN VC Joins Strategic Forum

The Vice-Chancellor of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), Professor Abdulrashid Garba, on Tuesday, 3rd June 2026, participated in a high-level meeting of the Forum of Vice-Chancellors of Private Universities in Kano State (FVCPUK), hosted by Azman University, Kano.

The meeting brought together leaders of private universities across the state to deliberate on shared challenges and opportunities within the higher education sector, with a focus on improving academic standards, institutional collaboration, and system-wide competitiveness.

Participating institutions included Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila, Baba Ahmed University, Kano, Capital City University, Kano, Skyline University Nigeria, and the host institution, Azman University, Kano.
