The Kaduna State University (KASU) has launched its summer professional scholarship short courses in Academic Activities and Entrepreneurial Journalism. This initiative, aimed at enhancing journalistic skills and entrepreneurial acumen, is a collaborative effort between KASU and several esteemed institutions and professionals from around the world.

The courses commenced with an opening ceremony at KASU, where the university expressed gratitude to its partners and hosts for their unwavering support. "We are thrilled to begin this journey and thank our partnering university and host for their tremendous support," said the program organizers.

The courses feature a diverse lineup of esteemed facilitators who are co-teaching the sessions virtually:

  • Dr. Greg Simons from Sweden
  • Professor Saudat Salah Abdulbaqi and Dr. Rasaq Adisa from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria
  • Dr. Natalee Ivanova from RUDN University, Russian Federation
  • Mr. Lekan Otufodunrin from the Media Career Development Network, Nigeria
