Professor Aliyu S. Kantudu, a board member of Khairun Consultancy Service Limited (KCSL), has earned national recognition after emerging among the top performers in a competitive training programme on global university visibility and rankings.

Professor Aliyu S. Kantudu, a board member of Khairun Consultancy Service Limited (KCSL), has earned national recognition after emerging among the top performers in a competitive training programme on global university visibility and rankings.

The recognition followed his successful participation in a six week intensive training titled “Mastering University Rankings for Global Visibility.”

The programme was jointly organised by the Virtual Institute for Capacity Building in Higher Education (VICBHE), the National Universities Commission (NUC), the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), and the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).

According to the statement, the training ran from February 17 to March 31, 2026, and brought together academics from universities across the country to build expertise in university ranking systems, institutional visibility, and international best practices.

Professor Kantudu reportedly scored 43,835 in the programme, placing him among the leading participants nationwide and earning him recognition as a charter member of a national professional body focused on university rankings.

The achievement was described as a reflection of his academic competence and commitment to advancing institutional competitiveness and global relevance.

The management of Khairun Consultancy Service Limited also noted that the recognition further strengthens the organisation’s contribution to higher education development and strategic academic growth.

In a congratulatory message, the Vice-Chancellor commended Professor Kantudu for the milestone and wished him greater accomplishments in his academic and professional career.
