KHAIRUN Receives Donation from Borno State Hajj Commission to Support Qur'anic Education

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), has received a donation of traditional Qur'anic writing materials from the Borno State Hajj Commission.

The donation was made during a visit by a delegation led by Honourable Haruna Kukawa, Vice Chairman of the commission, who had previously pledged to support the university's International Institute of Qur'anic Science (IIQS).

During the visit, Hon. Kukawa expressed gratitude for the opportunity to fulfil his commitment, stating that the donation aimed to promote Qur'anic education and preserve traditional learning heritage. The Vice-Chancellor of KHAIRUN, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, welcomed the delegation and appreciated the generous contribution, noting that it would enhance the IIQS library's resource base and support students studying Qur'anic knowledge.
